In Schweinfurt there are a lot of shops. If you want to go shopping in little alleys you can go into the town centre and you will find many little shops with every kind of things: shoes, clothes, bags, books or with candy. There are also a lot of little ice cream parlours or snack bars with meals from China or Turkey, but also traditional German food like “Currywurst” with chips.
But if you want to go shopping on a rainy day, you can go into the two shopping malls. One of them is the “ECE Stadtgalerie”. A huge package of shops in one place. You will find everything you want in one building. But now you are hungry because of the shopping tour? No problem! In the mall are many restaurants like a sushi bar, an Italian restaurant, a McDonald’s, a fish restaurant or Vietnamese food.
And if only one mall is too boring for you, you can go into the other mall: The “Marienbachzentrum”. In this recently renovated mall is a big shop with stationery or a shoe shop on two levels. And if you want to have a coffee after this exhausting shopping tour you can sit down in a little bakery in the mall and just relax.
