Die Zeiten, da die Brüder Konrad, Burkhard und Hieronymus Schleyer aus Üchtelhausen mit 20 „Sachen“ im Schweinfurter Oberland von Ort zu Ort tuckerten, sind vorbei. Vielleicht haben sie ein wenig das Zutrauen in ihren alten Ford aus dem Baujahr 1945 verloren, vielleicht ist ihnen der Aufwand einfach zu groß geworden. Jedenfalls fahren sie den Wagen heute nur noch aus der Scheune im Üchtelhäuser Freihof 1 heraus, parken ihn im Hof und lassen die Bauern kommen. An neun Tagen im Herbst bilden sich dann meist lange Traktorschlangen im Ortskern, wenn Landwirte sowie Hobby-Obstbauern aus der ganzen Region ihre Ernte – oder besser: ihr Sammelgut – anliefern. »mehr
